Default prophecies Warrior skills/ skill points help

Hi, i have a level 8 warrior/monk. first question, is this a good pve class, or should i just change to wa/ranger? If not, then how much of my skill points should i be putting into what stats? i use swords. Also, can someone recommend some good prophecies skills to use for a w/mo? And what armor and sword should i be using, because the mobs never drop armor, and the swords are always low damage. I bought armor, but is that the only way to get it? by using the ingots?

Thanks in advance

Ok,

first, read the stickied thread at the top of the Warrior forum.

second, for a sword warrior, a good sword would be [frenzy][rush][hundred blades][sever artery][gash][resurrection signet][optional][optional]

Don't take monk healing skills - they are largely useless. Don't think of yourself as a tank, think of yourself as a damage dealer.

And yes, you can only craft armor.

People after me will say that frenzy is a bad skill to use for a newer player - I'm suggesting it because it will make you better earlier. If you activate rush, you cancel out frenzy. The way you're supposed to do it is use frenzy when you're not taking too much damage, then use rush when you are, etc.

Seriously though, look at the warrior sticky.

Since your fairly new id suggest getting [vigorous spirit] when you can. its a healing prayers skill and when u have nothing else to put on your skill bar it can really help out with frenzy.
As you increase lvls and get better id suggest shying away from /mo though

Read this try some things out and get back to us. TBH it has some builds in there and unless you are a little more clear in what you want to do, we can't help you.

As you play, you'll find a max weapon either via drop or crafter or trading with another player (never buy anything that has been customized). Armor has to be bought from crafters.
